Yes! Cloop runs entirely on your own device (laptop, desktop, or server). Your chat data never leaves your environment, except temporarily to your chosen LLM for generating summaries. Before this step, we remove personally identifiable information (PII), including mobile numbers and contact names, ensuring your data stays private.

📜 Is Cloop compliant with WhatsApp’s policies?

Operating within WhatsApp through apps like Cloop falls into a grey area regarding WhatsApp's policies. However, numerous reputable services such as Beeper, Texts.com and Periskope use similar technologies without issues. As long as you use Cloop responsibly and avoid spam or illegal activities, you're generally within safe bounds.
